Bollywood Hot Bold Actor Aamir Khan to star in ‘3 Idiots’

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will next be seen in the celluloid adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat’s best selling fiction ‘five point someone – what not to do at IIT’.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘3 Idiots’ is derived from Bhagat's story of three friends whose dismal grade point averages at the Indian Institute of Technology influence their friendship, love life and career choices.

The film, set for release at the end of this year, has brought Khan and producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra together for the first time.

“I was really apprehensive of working with Mr. Chopra,” Khan said in Mumbai on Friday.

“Now that I have got to know him during the making of this film, I realize that those apprehensions were unfounded,” he said.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and southern star R. Madhavan.

Bollywood Hot Actor Ajay Devgan turned a ticket seller at a movie hall here to promote his Bollywood Upcoming Movie 2009 'London Dreams'.

He took part in a unique promotional campaign by occupying the ticket seller's seat and sold tickets at the Galaxy Theatre located in Bandra, Mumbai.

Hundreds of moviegoers and fans lined up to for the advance booking of the film.

The actor was not present when a similar promotional event of the film took place in New Delhi. Bollywood Hot Actor Salman Khan, the film's other lead actor, sold the tickets.

"As the film is about to be released, we are promoting it so that people come to know about it and can go and watch the film," said Devgan.

The fan frenzy almost got out of hand at times and the police had to control the crowd. They had queued up outside the ticket counter to catch a glimpse of their favorite actor. He actor felt quite mesmerized to see such huge rush of his fan followers.

"I think it was a different experience. I was feeling good after seeing their enthusiasm. So it was a great feeling," he added.

He obliged the autograph hunters as well as affixed his autograph on every ticket that he sold which the fans may retain as a souvenir.

Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, 'London Dreams' is a story of two friends who drift apart because one of them gets fame and the other does not.

Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan are playing the role of two talented musicians from Punjab making it big in England.

The Mumbai police warned Bollywood Hot Actor Hrithik Roshan for playing loud music on Sunday night at his Juhu residence.

The police came to Hrithik’s 8th floor apartment at around 0215 hrs IST on receiving a telephone call complaining of loud music from his house. The Roshan family had thrown a big party to celebrate Pinky Roshan's (Hrithik's mother) birthday.

The police said that they first received a call about a crowd outside Hrithik's apartment, who had come to have a glimpse of the celebrities like Bollywood Hot Actor Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Bollywood Hot Actress Kareena Kapoor, Amisha Patel and Shilpa Shetty. They added that they checked into his flat after receiving another call complaining of loud music.

Hrithik told the police that they would wind up the party soon and that the music was low. However, the police warned the actor not to play loud music at night and cause inconvenience to the neighbours.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was warned against playing loud music at a late Sunday night party at his suburban Juhu residence. No complaint was registered against the Roshan family, as the police didn't find any violation of rules.

The Bollywood actor Aamir Khan following the lead of his fellow Indian movie stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan has decided to quit smoking but he’s not finding it easy. Aamir who is busy releasing his latest movie ‘3-idiots’ has spoken about the stress and worry which he is under and despite his promise to quit smoking he is dying to have a cigarette because he thinks it will relax him.

However at the same time Aamir Khan said that he had no intention of lighting up because a promise was a promise and also because he believed that when he decided to stop smoking he did so for a “noble cause”. At Ukmedix News we have seen how people who quit for a ‘higher cause’ and who make their smoking cessation attempt an important personal battle are more likely to have success.

You should look at smoking cessation as climbing an extremely high mountain and will yourself and promise yourself that you shall not fail no matter what obstacles come in your way. Harness your competitive streak and look at smoking as something which needs to be beaten, otherwise it will eventually destroy you.

Smoking is a chronic problem for the Indian government with millions of smokers many of whom are getting sick and costing the nation a fortune in medical care. The Bollywood film industry is immensely powerful and popular in India and the example of actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in quitting will be far more effective than public health campaigns initiated by the government.

There have been calls for the Bollywood film industry to follow the lead of some Hollywood film producers in completely banning the portrayal of smoking as glamorous or cool in films. In Hollywood for example the production companies Disney will only allow smoking in a context that makes it look unattractive and uncool.
