Dhobi Ghat Story: - Dhobi Ghat is set in Mumbai and revolves around the lives of four characters. Abhishek Bachchan News 2010:-(1) Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone pair up under the hawk eyed guidance of Director Ashutosh Gowariker for Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey a period thriller based on the Chittagong Uprising Of the 1930s and patterned on the book 'Do And Die' by Manini Chatterjee.Once Abhishek Bachchan enacting Surya Sen and Hot Deepika Padukone essaying Kalpana Dutta had been penciled into the project, the search was on through extensive auditions to rope in artistes who could imbibe and reflect the very essence of each of Sen's team of revolutionaries, bringing these forgotten patriots to life on screen. Their role in the uprising was defined by their personalities, which were varying in attributes.Surya Sen with his team of revolutionaries led the attack on five centres of British power in the town of Chittagong (then a part of undivided India) on the night of 18th April, 1930.
